Encaustic Art made on Paper.
16.5 x 23.4 inch.
Nice. Love the colors. I imagine tie dyed wood stumps and parachute seeds when I look at it.
Thanks Tim! It’s an older piece I made. I can’t exactly remember when… Whoops… But I love the colours too… Do you say ‘colors’ instead of ‘colours’? I think I learned it the wrong way… 😉
Colours is how the British spell it.
Did I reply already??? I think I did…
Well, we learn English hear in Holland not American. So that’s why I guess… But it’s difficult enough because of all the American movies I watch. Then I think I know a word, but don’t know how to write. 😉
Ah well, then I guess I’m British! 😉
We don’t learn American in school so it must be British then…
Hello Erica..Beautiful art work.I like it …
Thank you, Cyril! 😉
Beautiful, I love the effect and the colour combination! very striking
Thank you very much!!! 😉
This one is different and a bit more subtle than usual
This is an older piece. I made this two or three years ago…
Stunning work. Once again. Amazing! 🙂 This feels like when someone tries to change their life, how they can have one foot in a transformed like and yet still have effects from their past or problems lingering? Ha! What I read into it…
I’d love to see the live painting. Very interesting.
Thanks a lot, Tanyeno (did I write it right this time?).
I made this piece a couple of years ago. When I made this piece I was so happy with the outcoming… It’s one of my favorites.
I have to think back when I made this one… I made it because someone started noticing my work and told me I should go bigger. This is one of the first more bigger pieces I made back then. The fact that this person believed in me changed me. I started to believe in me more than I did before. I guess that’s the change you see in it.
Hope I can show you this piece once live. Maybe on a exhibition near you in the future? 😉
Hi Erica…YES. That is correct. 🙂
I know what that is like. Belief is a powerful thing.
That’s lovely. Gorgeous painting. Who was the person that believed in you?
An exhibition in NYC would be GREAT!!!! By then maybe it won’t be bought!
If only I could have an exhibition in NY!!! Do you think they would like my work???
The person who believed and still does is someone I met through a Dutch writers blog. I met him in person twice and he is a really sweet man. I guess he’s a bit of a loner as I am too… 😉
