“Eyes” is made on wood using coloured beeswax and stencils with my own eyes on them. Look closely and you can look into my eyes…
24 x 24 inch.
~Wow. Intense, and I think I see two eyes? Another extraordinary painting…..so much emotion emanating from it!
There are more eyes than two… Just have another close watch… 😉
You got it! More…?! 😀
Yep, more… 😉 Take a look at my site for some details… http://ericakanters.nl/eyes-encaustic-art-on-wood/
Going to look over the tag, then I have gym time. But I will definitely return to the painting! 🙂

There’s something dark and twistedly beautiful about this piece.
What a nice way to describe this piece. Thanks! Love your comment! 😉
I think it’s very appealing and evokes emotions from the audience. 🙂
I sure hope it does so…;)
Wild about eyes, their stories caught in upon the thin light of sight, so visual in colour, so telling of tales. Wild art, wild colours, Erica, for a fresh week…
Shall I call my art ‘Wild Art’!? Like the sound of it… 😉
My first thought is of what you use to create, and evolve you art, somewhere in their transient metamorphic past, they came from the wild places of the Earth. The wild is always within, and deeply expressed with, and about your art…. 🙂
Wow! You can put this in such beautiful words! My English isn’t good enough to express myself that way, but thanks again for the wonderful comment! 😉
Very fascinating. My “eyes” kept looking for more. Seriously, I appreciate your art.
